Radar first, Analyst when you need it

One radar map, four linked Analyst products, and a reliable way back to your original view.

Updated October 4, 2026 with the current interface captures.

HookEcho starts with one radar map. The main menu groups Views, Layers, and Your Map; the search opens the full product and tool catalog. Point forecast, storm attributes, and sensor dashboard sit together under Your Map.

Choose Analysis under Views to compare four products. Ctrl+S focuses search, Escape dismisses open menus, and the control beside search opens Settings.

Radar mode with the Radar section open

When a storm calls for comparison, choose Analysis. Its toolbar holds the presets, pane count, map and time links, active-pane label and Inspector. The four views in this capture show reflectivity, velocity, correlation coefficient and differential reflectivity. The inspector shows the selected data and its actual time.

The return trip matters just as much. Choose Radar and the single map you left comes back with its site, position, product, threshold, overlays and selected time. Choose Analyst again and its pane layout resumes. Both arrangements live for the session; save a workspace in Tools to keep one across restarts.
